Penn Valley Ceramics Instructor, Bernadette Torres will demo her hand building method of building figures, flowers and birds. She will also present how to repair cracks in leather-hard and bone dry clay, pre-bisque and pre-glaze and post glaze with epoxy. THIS IS DEMO ONLY |

At the KC Clay Guild, you have access to our studio and all the tools and equipment that the pro's have but without spending thousands of dollars! For as little as $10.00 (during FUN NIGHTS ) you can be on your way to making beautiful ceramic works of art! Making pottery is a great stress reliever so come on down today and join in the fun of ceramic arts!

 We acknowledge and thank Missouri Arts Council for the grant awarded KC Clay Guild. This grant will be used to send to Board members to the annual conference of the National Council on the Education of the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) in Seattle, Washington. The Board members attended lectures and workshops to learn valuable information in reducing gas usage during reduction firing, electric firing techniques and glaze alteration. With these changes, KCCG plans to continue to reduce its carbon footprint through various types of recycling, insulating and energy usage. |
