We acknowledge and thank Missouri Arts Council for the grant awarded KC Clay Guild.  This grant will be used to send to Board members to the annual conference of the National Council on the Education of the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) in Seattle, Washington.  The Board members will attend lectures and workshops to learn valuable information in reducing gas usage during reduction firing, electric firing techniques and glaze alteration. With these changes, KCCG plans to continue to reduce its carbon footprint through various types of recycling, insulating and energy usage.
