Q: How long have you been doing ceramic work? A: 18 years.
Q: Who or what inspires you? A: I am most inspired by the works of Neil Finn and Clive Owen.
Q: What is your favorite kind of ceramic work? A: My taste is pretty dynamic so it's hard to pick just one.
Q: How long have you been teaching? A: 14 years.
Q: What skill level do you teach? A: I teach students who's skills are Intermediate to advanced.
Q: Do you teach Wheel Throwing or Hand Building Techniques? A: I teach primarily throwing. I also have students create altered forms requiring some hand building and compound form techniques.
Q: What can students expect to learn from your class? A: Students can expect to learn how to make complex forms and to consider the aesthetics of the forms in relation to their function.
Q: What kind of atmosphere does your class have? A: Demanding, challenging and self-critique.
Q: Is there anything that makes your class special? A: My class takes field trips and has group shows at art fairs.
